Actual Rumored Movie Rumor News

January 15, 2009 · 1 Comment

All up in the Internet’s junk this week, I give you news that you already know:

Casting has begun for Hollywood’s next big original blockbuster, The Karate Kid. Originally, a movie that has already been made, the remake will seek to capture the magic of the original, The Karate Kid. Saving the time of creating an original movie, from an original script, based on an original idea, the filmmakers are instead free to attract a new audience, with the original idea, by casting new celebrities in the original roles.

Jaden Smith is set play the roll of Daniel “Daniel-san” LaRusso, a spunky, yet whiney, kid from New Jersey, originally played by Ralph Macchio.

Jackie Chan, Chinese actor and Kung-fu Master, will fill the role of Mr. Kesuke Miyagi, a Japanese apartment superintendent and Master of Karate, originally played by Pat Morita.

Next week, I’ll interview Director Michael Bay on his upcoming remake of The Goonies starring Tom Cruise.

My awesome playlist will punch your playlist in the gut and eat its feeble remains for breakfast, which happens to be the most important meal of the day.

After viewing the movie, Hot Rod, I discovered the fine art of Punch Dancing. Since then, I’ve been punching my way to a better me. Punch Dancing is a great way to exercise, reduce stress and generally lift your mood to insanely crazy levels of extremeness. It works for me and it can work for you.

There are a few important aspects to consider before ripping in to a massively energizing Punch Dance.

Location can make or break your routine. Try to choose a location that is open and airy, with plenty of objects you can use to perform massive aerial stunts. Secluded and private is best. Nothing wrecks a good Punch Dance like the judgmental eyes of strangers, or a spouse who returns home early from a shopping trip.

Clothing is important. It must make you feel cool both mentally and physically. You should find it comfortable and loose enough for splits and karate kicks, but not so loose it snags objects or pets. Naked is a no-no. You need support for your testicles and/or breasts. Again, snagging can and will occur when items flop around uncontrollably. Your best bet is an old pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Classic, yet comfortable.

Music is key. A great playlist fires you up and keeps you going. You want it hard, but not so hard that you feel the need to hurt yourself or others. Inspirational is best. Fast beats, smooth guitars and wailing saxophones will add to your experience. Peppy synthesizers are also acceptable. The lyrics should be insightful and inspire success. If the singer’s voice sounds strained, you’re on the right track. You want him/her to feel the music so much, they don’t care if they are doing irreparable damage to their vocal chords. You should want to scream, “Yeah!” a lot. But, don’t really. Focus on your breathing instead.

Remember, music is also your script for great choreography. Beats are your cue to punch, punch, kick, turn, punch, kick, flip, chop, punch, punch! You get the idea. Guitar and saxophone solos are a great time to get interpretative. Move your body to the groove. Just don’t get lame. If you start to think that incense and crystals would add to your experience, back off on the fluid movements and focus again on fast, direct and aggressive motions.

Now – right now! – is the time for you to involve yourself in the exciting art-sport of Punch Dancing. To get you started, I’ve put together a playlist of amazingly fantastic Punch Dance songs. These songs will get the heart pumping, blood flowing and fists flying. Before you know it, you’ll be putting together your own great mix and Punch Dancing to extremes you never knew existed.
